Our Core Beliefs

• There is one God who exists in unity and as three separate, distinct and equal persons.
• Jesus (the Christ) is the only begotten son of God. He was born of a virgin as both God and man, lived a sinless life and died for the sins of mankind. He was buried, arose from the grave on the third day, ascended into Heaven and will literally return to earth.
• The Holy Spirit is the divine helper, assistant, counselor and instructor. His work is to reveal Jesus Christ, convict of sin, lead to repentance, guide believers and comfort, strengthen and sanctify the soul.
• The Bible is God's Holy Word. It is literally inspired without error. It is the sole authority for Christian life and the final arbiter of moral issues.
• We are special creations of God, made in His spiritual image. Humanity fell from God's grace through the sins of the first man, Adam, and all of us are sinners in need of salvation.
• Salvation is a gift through repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ. Every person who truly accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is eternally secure in his or her salvation, and will spend eternity in Heaven. People who die in their sins without Christ will literally spend eternity separated from God
• We are called individually and collectively to be ambassadors of Christ, sharing both His compassion and His offer of salvation.
